In Subitup under the employee's position tab you can add the hire date. It would be really convenient if we could have a place to put the exit date of the employee with the name of the person who supervised them. But the other issue with this is that once you archive an employee you can not see their information without making them active again. What I was thinking was that it would be helpful if in the archived state there was an information line within the box that does pop up that could state/show the hire date, exit date, and name of the supervisor. This would be helpful when outside businesses call and want a reference, or to verify the dates of employment for someone. Currently, I have started a spreadsheet in Excel for this since all dead files get put into a box and stored for several years. I know that some student employees here have different jobs, so that would have to allow additional lines within that pop-up box for each job. There may even be a better way of doing this in SubItUp. Maybe allow information to be seen in the archived state. Just thoughts I had.
